EGO x THE APARTMENT : Sunday Brunchin’.

As September rolls round, so does fashion month; a time when designers, models, celebs, brands and photographers all collate in the most stylish of ways. Whilst fashion weeks are held all over the year in a host of countries and cities, the ‘Big Four’ are held consecutively in the months of September (S/S) and February (A/W). The four cities in question are New York, London, Paris and Milan. Last week marked the turn of our very own London Fashion Week, or more frequently known as LFW, and naturally as a fashion forward brand we wanted to get involved.

We wanted to set up a beautiful brunch for some of our favourite bloggers on the Sunday of LFW to celebrate one of our fave weeks of the year and network with some of the best #EGOSQUAD babes. We hooked up with The Apartment to set up this brunch and boy did they do good. Like our very own magical fairy godmothers, we sent them our wishes and they granted every single one, plus more.

The Apartment was set up by blogger AbiMarvel in 2012 with the aim of launching a space for social influencers to gather during fashion weeks, or events, to use the facilities as a working and recreational hub. Due to it’s popularity at LFW,, The Apartment now extends to both NYFW and PFW.

The theme of our brunch was pretty autumnal colours mixed with flowers, marbles, pinks, greys and perspex. Oh so on brand. We wanted it to be insta worthy with plenty of food, drink and shoes for all.

Our guest list included some mega blogging babes such as, Miss Joslin, Layla Panam, Hannah Louise F, Liv Blankson, Mpho Lebajoa,EstareGrams, Chloe Plumstead and lots and lots more.

Food wise, we had plenty of sweet treats from The Unhampered Girls who provided us plenty of yummy food. We had some uber cool macarons, marshmallow sticks, champagne jelly with floating rose petals, rose gold spoons laid with chocolate and edible flowers, pretzels coated in sprinkles, mini brownies with rose icing, mini raspberry pastries and of course, some on brand EGO marble heart shaped cookies.

We also had a flatlay to end all flatlays, which included shoes, makeup, food, drinks and even more shoes. Obviously.

Oh, and did we mention a top chef came in at lunchtime to cook for the whole #EGOSQUAD? Well it was fab. We also had a stylin’ shoe showroom for bloggers to pick from to wear to the fashion shows they were off to and there was also an on site hairdresser and makeup artist for quick little touch ups and style changes.

One of our favourite things about the whole event was a secret little cupboard door that led to a room full of pink balloons with a pink chair in the middle. Perfect for getting all those Insta shots of the day.

We gave gift bags to all our bloggers that attended, which included super cute cacti, sweets, frames with prints in,  drinks and a stylin’ discount code for some new shoes. We also had our very own exclusive desk area filled with polaroid blogger pics, sweets, colouring books, more cacti and interactive games such as ‘What’s your EGO?’ cards, to find out your EGO for the day. From stylish to sassy, fierce to flawless; we had all EGO’s covered.

Stay tuned for our next LFW post that reveals on on what the #EGOSQUAD wore and how they styled their favourite EGO shoes.
